The yacht is a custom-built Lightwave 48 by Oyster Marine of lpswich, United Kingdom. It was originally constructed in 1988 but was returned to the yard prior to being shipped to the Far East, in 2007, at which time new standing rigging, sails, plumbing and electrics, were installed, engine overhauled and various other maintenance and repair works, carried out. A new generator was installed about two years ago and two air-conditioners have also been installed since the yacht arrived in Singapore.

Accommodation consists of a forward double cabin with en-suite, a large saloon, dining area, galley and navigation station, midships, with seating convertible to further bunks if required, and two bunks in a passageway on the port side, leading to
the owner's suite which is located aft.

The conning position is above the machinery space, aft of the mast, and both foresail and main sail are self-furling.
